As a struggling artist, I like to consider it as something that can not be censored and considered free. Because of this, whatever censorship that will be held over the forums here will be very little, but make no mistake, it will be there in a way. There would be no reason for moderators otherwise.
Mostly, I want people to be nice to everyone else. These are new forums, and they are just beginning to take shape with posters, new and old friends coming back together for a visit and perhaps even a prolonged stay, depending on how well the topics do here.
Also, if you are going to make yourself a signature, please keep it at 600 X 180 or less.
I've allowed Thugsrus0790 to make one a bit taller than the 180 high, but his is also a lot less wide. It's a matter of judgement mostly. The signatures that people have used at other forums will likely be fine, but if it gets too big, there will be a request that it be made smaller.
If you have any ideas for the forums, don't hesitate to PM myself or one of the other helpful moderators that are here.

The forums are now wired for sound. You should be able to hear an introduction to the board upon entering, upon posting, upon replying, upon trying to mind your own business, upon checking your PMs if you are in a forum... pretty much every time something loads.
Check out the sounds. Most of them are trashy, but there are a few good ones scattered amongst the forum pages.

I suggested to Adam that if anyone has a signature over the specifications that they Pm him and ask permission and he said it sounded liek a good idea. So he put me in charge of Signatures over 600 x 180. So if yours is going to be bigger before you make it official you need to PM me and ask and make sure it is ok. If you do not ask you may have to remove it so please be considerate to the forum rules. Thanks for your time.

Added the money code today. Added arcade games that are accessible from the top of the forum, along the same line that includes Home, Help, etc options. It should be at the end.
Took away the coding for the RPG stuff, although the experience count is still there. I accidentally screwed up the leveling system, and couldn't find the original thread I had found it in so I could repair it. I'll get to that in the next few days. The real money code is up and running though.

Alright, as some of you may have noticed, I have removed a number of things from the forums. First of all, I took away the Hit Point, Attack Power, Magic Power, etc counters. They were leading to spam, and well, though I would like to have a busy set of forums, spamming them up is not the best way to go. So those were removed. I am thinking also of removing the Money and Experience counters for the same reason.
Also, last night I placed a JukeBox function at the top of the forum that allowed you to choose between a number of different songs to listen to while you were posting or browsing the forums. This feature has also been removed. I experienced great difficulty getting onto the forums after I placed the code, and that likely meant that the code was not compatible with something going on in the forums already. Besides that, the music would get cut off every time you went into a different area of the forums, so you likely would have never gotten through a full song unless you were writing a story for the ART FORUM.
I have placed Phantasy Star Tutorial Episode 9 onto the SaveFile server so that I can keep track of how often it is downloaded. I will be doing so with Episode 10 as well when I get home from work tonight, IF it allows the upload.
Aside from that, I also took out the music from the insides of the forums altogether. I was doing it originally with the hope that not having them there would allow the JukeBox to play through into the other forums while you were browsing around. It didn't happen like that though, so for now, the music pieces are gone. They were getting annoying restarting every time you did something new in a given forum anyway, although the constant burping from the ENTERTAINMENT forum was amusing.
That's it for now. I check in every day to see what different codes might make this place more enjoyable for everyone, and I will continue doing so. Unfortunately the Jukebox just didn't want to fit in with the place, although if I can find a way for it to do so without glitching up, I might install it again since it wasn't a bad idea. Other than that, I hope everybody is enjoying the arcade selection at the top of the screen.
Update!
I just removed the Experience counter in the hopes of stopping some problems I am experiencing accessing the forums. If the problem continues, I'll know it isn't the fault of the experience code, and may place it back. For now though, it's gone.

When I got home from work tonight, I noticed I am still having problems with the forums vanishing. I have taken away just about every other code I have placed on the forums, thinking it is still the fault of one of them. It might have been the arcade link. I noticed that when the forums did vanish, it kind of looked like tha page that displayed the arcade games.
If the problem continues, I will be led to think that it's the fault of one of the few remaining codes. Until then, I hope this problem has been solved.
Also, in order to decrease the spam that is happening here, I have taken away both the money and experience counts. Karma stays because it's built into the site. Really, the spam is just a little bit out of control.
Alright, everything I'm doing to stop the problem with the vanishing forums doesn't change the fact that there is a problem. What you are going to have to do then is click on the broken link when the forums vanish, and this will take you TO the forums. The URL is the same between the two pages, and I really don't know why the broken link directs you here instead of to the movie page like it does when it's not broken.

Placed the Jukebox at the top of the forum again, and put some new songs on it. They are mostly short, which is just fine for a forum environment.
