For Phantasy star being Online of course. How can you see how many people are online?

When you are at the ship or server select screen, you press X or Y, and you are given a number of how many people are in that ship, or server. It's that easy man.

Oh well thank you. Sometimes the most simple things are blind to people unless their pointed out.
You probably knew this, but your characters head looks like one of the twins Mags you can have.

If you press X while looking at games it also tells you which characters are in them, their type and level as well.
