*waves* Here's a doodle I did today. I'm not overly thrilled with it, but meh. ^_^ I love FOmars so much. I'm going to attempt to animate this later, but we'll see how that goes. >.<

That looks great. Keep in mind that there is no shame in tracing when you are animating things, although I'm sure you're well aware of that.

^_^ I know. I love my lightbox for that very reason. Hahahaha no more tracing paper, ever! Unless I'm transfering to cardstock, which is too thick for the lightbox...
I'm just learning how to do walk cycles and the like in Drawing and Characterization (one of my classes), so I think what I want to do with this would be quite easy. It's just a matter now of finding time to do it as well as my mountain of homework.

Just take your time with it, and you'll be fine. There's no need to rush, even though small mistakes won't be noticed in regular speed animations.

Time? Hah! Like I have any of that, except late at night when my brain dies!
Oh, wait, that's right now... >.<

I am, but that doesn't automatically make me a Wacom and photoshop junkie, now does it? ^_^ Even now, almost a year after I started, everything I have done toward my concept has been traditional media. Until my next 3D modeling project - which is an outdoor scene - I'm going to attempt one of my areas. >.<
I mean, photoshop and painter are great and all, and I think it's really neat that they have the technology to make it that much easier to draw on computers and do digital art, but to me, an oil painting means so much more than a digital painting. A sketch means so much more than a computerized doodle.
And no matter what people say, my opinion on it will always be the same: Something done in a traditional media will have much more value than the same thing done digitally. Anyone can use photoshop. It takes a true artist/master to do the same thing with coloured pencils, markers, or paint. In traditional media there is no "ctrl + z".
